I'm currently working on Hubble
Space Telescope as the Observatory Systems Engineer. What's that
you might ask. Well, I deal with pretty much all aspects of the hardware
that makes HST operate, except the science instruments. There are
many systems and subsystems from the Aft Shround to the Zone of Exclusion,
but mostly I am responsible for the Gyros, which keep HST pointing accurately,
and Solar Array 3 which are the new arrays to be installed on the next
Servicing Mission, SM3B.
I also worked on HOST which was the mission
that John Glenn returned to space. Before starting to work on HST,
I worked on the Small Explorers Project, also known as SMEX. Always
practice safe SMEX.
